ABOUT US

Senior Center and Nutrition Services (SCANS) is an affiliate committee of the Utah Aging Association (UAA) developed for the purpose of:

  • To develop a statewide network of senior center and nutrition site personnel
  • To develop mechanisms for exchange and work towards maximum utilization of information and resources for senior center and nutrition site personnel
  • To promote professional standards for senior centers and nutrition sites
  • To enhance and support efforts to improve the availability of services to meet the needs of the older population

WHO CAN JOIN?

Senior Centers and Nutrition Services Committee (SCANS) is comprised of UAA members who are associated with senior centers or nutrition programs. Membership is $5 a year to join in conjunction with UAA membership.
